The breakfast burritos are the bomb. You cannot go wrong with any of the choices. The best part, honestly, is the green sauce. If you're not into spicy stuff, get the red. It's still spicy, but not as spicy as the green.
Every day there is a different lunch special. We always go to chicken strip Wednesday and catfish Friday. Delicious and they come with salad and veggies.
Jo Jo is awesome and will remember your name soon after you go a few times. Very friendly staff. -

Decent homestyle cooking.
Burgers, deli sandwiches, salads and homemade soups are the fare.
It's a dive on the inside, but the food is just like Moms. -

I just wanted to say a few more good words about Jo Jo's. They are great for a lunch while you are working at the office that will be filling enough to be satisfying and keep you "fueled up" through the afternoon, yet is never heavy or greasy. They usually have a Philly cheese steak sandwich on Tuesdays which is one of the best I have had. Other specials I have had recently include green chile soup, New Mexican style flat enchiladas, meat loaf, posole soup with pork, red beans and rice, and chicken strips.
These dishes are only served certain days, not every day, but every day they do have good burgers and sandwiches, and salads available each day.
One really convenient thing is that they now accept credit cards. For a long time they only accepted cash and checks but now take cards.
They have a great staff with real experienced cooks and the owner is always there managing things personally. If you patronize them a few times they will remember you by name. Also the food is really "homemade", no pre-made, canned or frozen stuff as far as I can tell. No waiters or waitresses. You order at the counter or call in the order and if you are dining at their place they will bring it out to you.
They serve breakfast and lunch only and pretty much stop cooking and start cleaning up a little around 1:30 or so. -

This a very small place tucked in an old building. It being the only thing around I gave it a try. The menu is limited but I have say what ordered was good. A simple chicken salad sandwich and baked potato were done very well. Portions a little small for the price but when you don't expect much it turned out well. In a pinch, give them a try for a quiet simple lunch. Also, very noteworthy the excellent service.
